Week 6 was filled with adventure as campers headed out on their Big Trips and returned with stories, laughter, and memories that will last far beyond the summer. Our Collegians explored Canada, Uppers took in the beauty of Niagara Falls, Lowers enjoyed an unforgettable few days in Boston, Subs traveled to Hershey, Pennsylvania, and Juniors had a fantastic trip to Lake George. Lower Camp also enjoyed a full schedule of day trips, making the most of beautiful Berkshire weather with visits to the farm, ropes courses, movies, Six Flags, and more.
Most importantly, everyone returned to camp safely, with countless new memories and plenty of stories to share. We thought the Big Trips might be the highlight of the week, but Lenox had something even bigger waiting.
Upon returning to camp, a royal invitation awaited as the kingdom of Lenox gathered for the medieval wedding of Yuliia and Morgan. The evening featured a beautiful ceremony with horses, medieval touches, and plenty of surprises along the way. At one point, the celebration even included a fake Color War break, adding another layer of excitement to an already unforgettable night.
Just when everyone thought the evening had reached its finale, mysterious ninjas appeared, swept Yuliia and Morgan into an SUV, and disappeared into the night. The entire camp followed the convoy, unsure of what was waiting ahead. As the vehicles came to a stop, fireworks lit up the sky, fog filled the air, and two figures emerged to the cheers of the entire camp.
In that moment, the next chapter of Lenox history began as two generals emerged together from the fog. General Austin Bergen, leading the Orange Marauders, and General Rachel Grandis, leading the Black Battalion, stood before the entire camp as the leaders of Color War 2026. Two generals who call Lenox home, now carrying forward one of Lenox’s greatest traditions.
Already, both teams have shown tremendous sportsmanship, teamwork, determination, creativity, and camp spirit. With two incredible days behind us and Trifecta still ahead, the excitement continues to build. We cannot wait to see what the rest of this unforgettable Color War has in store.
Our Collegians had an unforgettable adventure exploring Canada, filled with exciting activities, beautiful scenery, and memories to last a lifetime.
The Uppers enjoyed an incredible trip to Niagara Falls, taking in the breathtaking views while making unforgettable memories together.
From sightseeing and shopping to exciting attractions, our Lowers had an amazing few days exploring Boston.
Thrills, treats, and everything in between! Our Subs had a fantastic time enjoying Hershey and all it had to offer.
Beautiful views, fun adventures, and plenty of time together made Lake George another unforgettable Big Trip for our Juniors.
Our Lower Camp campers stayed busy all week with exciting day trips, including Six Flags, the ropes course, local farms, movies, and plenty of Berkshire adventures close to camp.
